When learning a new skill, finding education programs that meet your needs work is critical to your success. When I was starting out, I had no clue where to even begin. I turned to the Internet and searched on “photography education” and I was overwhelmed with the search results. There were so many options, so many topics, and no real place that said “HEY! Start Here.” Eventually I found a few different paths forward, but it was slow going. You can avoid this by letting me accelerate your learning!
Together we will evaluate your current skills and set goals for improvement.
I will design a personalized learning plan based on your skills and goals.
Your skills advance with my encouragement and mentoring.
Your learning is accelerated and your skills take off!
In order to meet the educational needs of my students, I offer three different methods for learning: Formal Workshops, Photo Critiques, and a Mentoring Program.
- Take Control of Your Camera
- Landscape Photography 101, 201, and 301.
- How to Shoot Light Trails
- How to Shoot Long Exposure Images
- Photoshop for Landscape Photographers
- Getting Started with Lightroom
I have found that having my work critiqued offers one of the best opportunities to learn. It helps me understand what I am doing well, and also on which skills that need attention as well. In order to meet all of my student’s needs, I offer both online and in-person critique sessions.
Without a doubt, my skills have improved most dramatically when I have participated in a mentorship program. Having a trusted mentor to provide a path forward, providing constant feedback on how you are progressing is invaluable. I offer both one-on-one mentorship opportunities, as well as the opportunity to work in a group environment too. It is your choice!
